About

Hey, girl, thanks for stopping by to check out all of my designs. I’m Stephanie, aka girl Stephanie, the creator and woman behind I AM GIRL STEPHANIE. I AM GIRL STEPHANIE, is a one-woman show (although, I say "we" and "our" a lot) and fashion accessories brand created to provide goods to people who share the desire to make the world a better place by giving back. It is our mission to create and offer affordable, high-quality fashion accessories by doing good. In doing so, in association with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, we raise funds to help support women in need who are affected by breast cancer.

According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation:

  • 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
  • On average, every 2 minutes, a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States.
  • Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers.
  • There are over 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.

Breast Cancer affects many of us, whether you know someone who has this diagnosis, loss their battle to this disease, or living their life as a survivor. I lost my aunt to breast cancer and had other close family members diagnosed living through survivorship.

This is why I AM GIRL STEPHANIE exists; it became my mission to help and support those affected by this cancerous disease. It is important to me to bring awareness to this disease and not just in October, so this is why we raise funds and donate monthly.

Creating earrings began as a hobby, and having experimented with polymer clay for several years; it became therapeutic for me to create. So, I began to take my craft more seriously and turn my hobby into a small business. I have always expressed my unique style through fashion and accessories, and I want other girls to embrace their style and be bold and confident.

To support the cause, you can shop with me, or if you are interested in donating, you can do so by clicking the link here https://fundraise.nbcf.org/fundraiser/2728841to our fundraising page.
